Keep a source register

For each policy, record the jurisdiction, authoritative source, source date, policy owner, and next review. Check current official guidance and obtain an appropriately qualified review before relying on a legal interpretation.

Separate drafting from approval

Keep suggested wording distinct from an approved policy. Record who reviewed it, which questions remain open, and when the organization approved its use.

This article does not state current employment-law requirements or certify a policy as compliant. An automated readability or risk signal is a prompt for review, not legal approval.
